Sectoral Committee

Sectoral committees are composed of representatives from partner states and serve as platforms for collaboration, knowledge sharing, and policy development. The primary role of Sectoral Committees for LVBC is to address sector-specific issues, ranging from environment, and infrastructure. These committees work to identify challenges, propose solutions, and develop strategies that align with the EAC's goals of regional integration and sustainable development. The committee also also plays a vital role in monitoring the implementation of EAC policies and initiatives. They provide valuable recommendations to the EAC Secretariat and the Council of Ministers, ensuring that the interests of partner states are represented and that progress is made toward common objectives.
