TENDER FOR SUPPLY AND COMMISSIONING OF A SEARCH AND RESCUE BOAT FOR LAKE VICTORIA BASIN COMMISSION

Lake Victoria Basin Commission (LVBC) is a specialized institution of the East African Community (EAC), mandated to coordinate sustainable development and management of the Lake Victoria and its Basin in the EAC Partner States.

The Commission has received financing from EAC Partner States and intends to purchase a Search and Rescue Boat as per the detailed specifications in the bidding document.

LVBC now invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for supply and assembly of a search and rescue boat in Mwanza South Port, Tanzania. Interested Eligible Bidders may obtain further information at the LVBC Offices at New Nyanza Regional Headquarters, 13th Floor, Owuor Otiende Road, Kisumu, Kenya; Telephone: +254 57 202 3873/94; Email: <procurement@lvbcom.org> and copy <ndoto@lvbcom.org>. Bidding documents can be downloaded from www.lvbcom.org or www.eac.int.

All Bids properly filled in, and enclosed in plain envelopes clearly marked “TENDER FOR SUPPLY AND COMMISSIONING OF A SEARCH AND RESCUE BOAT FOR LAKE VICTORIA BASIN COMMISSION’’ and must be accompanied by a bid security of USD $5,500 (United States Dollars Five Thousand Five Hundred only) in form of a Bank Guarantee, must be addressed and delivered to the address below on or before 11.00 a.m local time, 4th April, 2024. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at the address below on 4th April, 2024 at 11.30 a.m local time.
