Ongoing Activities The following are some of the ongoing activities at the Lake Victoria Basin Commission: • Implementation of the Second Phase of Lake Victoria Environmental Management Project. The focus is based on the outcome of the regional concept workshop of September 2003 where three themes were identified: Research, Management and, Social Economic Development. • Implementation of the Partnership Agreement through the projects that have been approved to receive funding from the Partnership Fund. • Coordination with networks operating in the Lake Victoria Basin to implement the Lake Victoria Basin Vision and Strategy Framework.
